Wantage Beginner Band

Wantage Beginner Band is, for most, the first step of a learners brass banding journey at Wantage Silver Band.

Led by Judith Atkins, the band meet each Saturday morning to practice the important skills of playing together and as an ensemble. Most members will have a weekly lesson with one of our tutors where they can take their band music to improve on this between band rehearsals.
 
The band performs in small concerts at our band hall, carolling at Christmas as well as appearing in our Annual Celebration Concert. This is the future of our contesting bands and everyone in the organisation loves watching this group evolve year after year.
