More sun in Cheltenham!

Concert Brass and guests took the coach to Cheltenham and were rewarded by a good audience and good weather.

Having first sampled the delights of Cheltenham and the helpfulness of the locals,  the players were ready to play in Montpellier Gardens. Our very thoughtful coach driver was able to arrange for the coach to drop and collect the players and instruments close to the bandstand there, and this was much appreciated by all.

The bandstand believed to be the oldest in the country still in regular use  was very fine and ideally situated near a cafe to sustain the supporters.

The band gave an excellent performance playing a very varied programme, and to show how enthralled the audience were with the concert, when the finale came and they were asked to emulate the girations of the conductor, Gareth, they achieved the feat almost effortlessly.

Well done Cheltenham!  and well done Concert Brass and guests.
