Wantage Silver BandAnother Successful Youth Concert
Youth Concerts have become a regular annual event in Wantage, and this year's concert in King Alfred's school centre site hall on April 25th was as successful as ever, with contributions from Youth Brass, the Training Band, Junior Brass and the Advanced Youth Ensemble. The picture shows the massed youth groups at the finale! A comment in the online magazine "4Bars Rest" on the recent 'B' Band success at the Area Contests in Stevenage quotes "the remarkable training organisation at Wantage saw its considerable efforts rewarded".

Wantage Silver Band have been making music in Wantage, Oxfordshire and beyond since 1972.
Our 'A' Band competes in the prestigious Championship Section of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
