Hiring the band

Wantage Silver Band can provide a brass band or brass ensemble for a wide variety of events, including:

  • Fetes and garden parties
  • Wedding ceremonies and receptions
  • Parades and church services
  • Charity concerts
  • Bandograms

a 'real band' beats a CD player hands down

We have a wide repertoire, ranging from traditional marches and arrangements of classical music to popular and film music. If you have specific requirements for pieces of music, we are often able to fulfil them.

About Us

Wantage Silver Band have been making music in Wantage, Oxfordshire and beyond since 1972.

Our 'A' Band competes in the prestigious Championship Section of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain.
